Telemetry RN Job in Memphis, TN

Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position. You will work 4x12 day shifts (48 hours per week) on a 45-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patients.

Role Overview

You will care for patients with primary surgical oncology diagnoses, medical oncology, and med-surg overflow. Your responsibilities include managing central lines, wound care, drains, ostomies, and Foleys. You will administer chemotherapy, manage conscious sedation, and perform IV starts. You will work with PCA pumps and support patients across a range of acuity levels.

You will utilize a team nursing model with a 6:1 patient ratio, sharing caseload with one LPN and one Med Nurse per two RNs. On-call and weekend coverage are required. You may float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed. All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application. You must be willing to work holidays if they fall during your assignment.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience (strictly enforced)
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers must have 5+ years specialty experience
• Level I Trauma center experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,764.80.
