RN (Registered Nurse)

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts with options of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement: Friday and Saturday for night shifts, Saturday and Sunday for day shifts<br>• Holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly<br>• Multi Care Unit with combined acuity levels (ICU, PCU, MST) on one 10-bed unit<br>• Patient ratios depend on acuity: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6 (1:3 primary care if no nursing assistant)<br>• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med-Surg from larger facilities<br>• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS<br>• Titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin<br>• Care for patients with sepsis, suicide attempts, drug/alcohol withdrawal, COPD, respiratory arrest, pneumonia, DKA, and post-op complications<br>• Take 12-lead EKGs and monitor bedside cardiac monitors for ICU patients<br>• Float to Emergency Department, MST, Pediatric unit, and West Campus in Prescott for ICU/PCU assignments<br>• Standby rotation required during low census periods<br>• Any scrub color permitted except camouflage<br>• Charting system: Cerner<br>• BSN not required<br>• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services with specialized units including a unique Multi Care Unit that combines ICU, PCU, and medical-surgical acuity levels within one department.
