Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36/36 schedule with every other weekend required
• Patient ratios of 1:7 for medical surgical patients
• No call responsibilities
• Required to float to other units as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Medical surgical and telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
• Must live 100 miles or more from facility
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 24 hours of orientation including 16 hours non-billable orientation
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, telemetry monitoring, IV management, and use of rapid response teams
• Drug test must be completed within 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
• Complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
