<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Acute Care</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in acute care setting providing nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments<br>• Work independently in completing assignments following physician&#39;s orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies<br>• Provide nursing duties supporting individuals of all ages and their families<br>• RN license from any state is acceptable - Arizona state license not required<br>• Associate&#39;s or bachelor&#39;s degree in nursing required<br>• Must maintain valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States, Puerto Rico, or US territory<br>• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association<br>• Must complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire<br>• Must complete National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS - NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of hire<br>• Orientation provided every 2 weeks<br>• COVID and flu exemptions may be accepted after declination form is submitted<br>• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This JCAHO accredited health center provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The hospital was constructed in 1975 with a bed capacity of 73 beds. Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory surgical procedures. The facility features a diverse medical staff including surgeons, general medical officers, internal medicine physicians, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, obstetricians, ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and urologists.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Tuba City, AZ</p><p>Tuba City is located in Northwestern Arizona on the Colorado Plateau, offering a unique semi-desert landscape that varies in elevation from 4,400 to nearly 7,000 feet. The community provides a culturally rich environment serving Native American tribes including the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute, creating a pleasantly diverse community with Anglo, Hispanic, and African American residents.</p>
