Respiratory Therapist Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary position working nights. This is a 91-day assignment beginning September 1, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 nights
• Weekly pay: $2,203.20
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 1, 2026

Your Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of patient respiratory status
• Provide respiratory treatments to patients
• Evaluate patient response to and effectiveness of care delivered
• Provide patient education regarding respiratory treatments, health, and wellness
• Participate in on-call schedule as determined by facility
• Work weekend schedule as determined by facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute hospital setting
• Some experience with infants and pediatrics
• Current Oregon state license
• NRP certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NBRC certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS (AHA) certification
