RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies/procedures
• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status
• Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit/nursing guidelines
• Provide nursing care with consideration for cultural and psychosocial factors and patient age
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the patient population
• Document steps of the nursing process accurately, concisely, and legibly using correct medical terminology
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning with timely and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines and professionals as appropriate
• Exercise independent judgment in planning sequences of operations and making decisions in complex clinical situations
• Epic experience required
• Cupid experience preferred
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways required
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
• Detail-oriented approach to clinical and numerical data required
• Required skills: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardiac Critical Care/Hemodynamic Monitoring, Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation, and Intravenous Sedation
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required
