CVOR Technologist Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team in Santa Fe, NM. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 25, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 5 days per week on day shifts with 8-hour shifts, plus 1–2 twenty-four hour weekend call shifts per schedule and 1–2 call nights per week as needed. You may float to other departments as required. Weekly pay is $1,531.20.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, passing instruments and sutures to the physician
• Perform pre-operative skin preparation according to hospital standards
• Set up Operating Room tables, instruments, and supplies prior to surgery
• Position patients according to surgical type and maintain aseptic technique
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room suite
• Monitor and control the surgical environment, including traffic control and dress code compliance
• Adhere to Universal Barrier Precautions and OR sanitation policies
• Use physician preference cards when pulling cases and setting up the OR

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential or valid LVN/LPN license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or LVN/LPN program
• 2 or more years of surgical experience preferred
• Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, titanium rib, and robotics highly preferred
