CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts on a 6 shifts on, 8 shifts off rotation
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage required if the holiday falls during scheduled rotation
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Scrubs are provided
• 2 weeks of day shift orientation provided
• Perform X-ray and CT imaging studies including orthopedic X-rays, fluoroscopy, abdominal/pelvis CT, cardiac scoring, trauma protocols, and code stroke protocols
• Average of 24 X-ray studies and 24 CT scans per day
• Float coverage between X-ray and CT departments only
• Work with 1 X-ray machine, 1 portable X-ray, and 1 CT machine
• Equipment includes Carestream X-ray and Toshiba CT scanner
• Charting system: EPIC; PACS: McKesson
• Radiologist on-site Monday through Friday during daytime hours; after-hours and weekend scans are read remotely
• Must be able to work independently as there is no on-site radiology supervisor or lead tech per shift
• Must have CT experience; X-ray experience preferred
• No procedures performed
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), Certified CT Technologist, BLS Certification
