Radiation Therapist Job in Saint Louis, MO

You will work as a Radiation Therapist in the Brachytherapy department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a 84-day travel assignment with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM
• Rotating days off with no weekends or holidays required
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Role Responsibilities

• Perform brachytherapy procedures and HDR treatments
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed by authorized user/authorized medical physicist
• Manage daily caseload of 8–15 patients
• Operate HDR units and assist with brachytherapy implants
• Float within service line as needed
• Use Epic charting system

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• ARRT (T) certification
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Pass NRC Radiation Safety exam within the first 2 weeks of contract (exam materials provided)

• No previous brachytherapy experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Cross-training available in proton therapy, external beam, and simulation
• Opportunity to pick up overtime shifts
• Sensitivity training is highly preferred
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
• No particular scrub color required

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,793.60.
