Med Surg RN Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract on a 53-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will work 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend requirement and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay is $2,462.40.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with a typical ratio of 1:7–8 patients
• Monitor and manage insulin and cardiac drips
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Document patient care in the EPIC charting system
• Float to other units and ProHealth facilities (including Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago) as scheduled
• Participate in holiday rotations including 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve
• No on-call or callback requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license (Wisconsin or Compact)
• 3–5 years of medical-surgical nursing experience in short-term acute care hospitals
• EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months
• Competency with insulin and cardiac drips
• Ability to read telemetry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• At least one completed traveler contract preferred

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
