Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every third weekend requirement
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required within scope or to sister facilities
• Adult critical care experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, RRT, and state license
• ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Work with 5-7 therapists per night shift
• Skills required: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Care with Patients with ARDS/Pneumonia, Medication Administration, Aerosol set up mask/trach, Metered dose inhaler, Nebulizer (cold/hand held/trach collar), Oxygen Therapy and Ventilator Management, ABG interpretation/Basic EKG/Chest Physiotherapy and drawing arterial blood gases
• Work with specialized equipment including Servo U/Avea Ventilators, V60/Resmed, IPV, Biwaze Cough Assist, Vest, Versapap/Aerobika
• Medication system: Pyxis
• 36 hours of orientation provided
