RN - ED

Job Details:

• Weekend-only shifts available: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Additional shift option covering weekends and holidays from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with RN scope of practice
• Conduct nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments while facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Consider patient culture, age, and developmental level when designing care actions and interventions
• Identify patient risk factors and presenting complaints, collecting both objective and subjective data
• Develop prioritized problem lists and determine desired outcomes in coordination with patients and families
• Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy within scope of practice
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members in the performance of patient care activities
• Identify and address educational needs of patients and provide patient and family-centered education
• Facilitate patient discharge process by executing discharge orders in a timely manner and coordinating with Case Management
• Actively participate in department quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, patient falls, pressure ulcers, and CAUTIs monitoring
• Promote a positive group dynamic and healing environment through words and actions
