<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting<br>• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process<br>• One year of nursing experience required<br>• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina required<br>• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required<br>• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing required<br>• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing preferred<br>• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs<br>• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans<br>• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs<br>• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate patient care<br>• Participate in patient education and discharge planning<br>• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in care delivery<br>• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities<br>• English language proficiency required (read, write, speak)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing a wide range of clinical services to the community.
