Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float throughout multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Required to float within 60-mile radius zone covering multiple hospital locations
• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
• May be required to participate in holiday rotation
• Schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance with two possible formats: scheduled at single facility for the week or Just-In-Time assignments 1-2 hours before shift
• Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• WV or Compact license required (pending license acceptable)
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Care for adult and geriatric populations with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, oncology, renal, post-surgical patients
• Required to titrate Heparin drips
• Work with respiratory equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPap
• May float to ICU for low acuity holds, PCU/Stepdown units based on skill set
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable modules prior to start date
• Orientation occurs every other Thursday
