Job Details:

• Circulating experience required
• Schedule options: 5x8s with call or 4x10s
• Rotating call shared between 2 RNs (Monday, Tuesday, Friday–Sunday one week; Wednesday and Thursday the following week, then rotates)
• Call is limited to general surgery and emergency C-sections
• Weekend coverage required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Prior travel experience highly preferred
• Block scheduling type
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days and nights
• 4 operating rooms with a daily census of 4
• Serves adolescent, adult, and pediatric patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include: circulating and scrubbing general surgery, C-sections, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, laparoscopic assisted cases and gynecological procedures, hernia repair, colon resection, dilation and curettage, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, cystoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, laser safety, radiation safety, malignant hyperthermia, fire safety, infection control, universal protocol, urinary bladder catheterization, wound management, and specimen handling/labeling
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, and unit secretary
