PCU Registered Nurse Job in Lawton, OK

Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position on the night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to provide direct patient care in a stepdown setting while maintaining work-life balance with predictable scheduling.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 30, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,203.20
• Location: Lawton, OK

About the Role:

You will care for patients transitioning from acute care, including those with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule-out protocols, congestive heart failure, noninvasive ventilation support, and post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients. You will also manage antiarrhythmic IV medications and monitor patients with peripheral vascular compromise. As part of operational flexibility, you may float to Med/Surg or the Emergency Room to cover holds as needed.

Schedule:

• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• No block scheduling—flexibility is required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Current Oklahoma state nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of stepdown unit experience
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Work history required in profile submission
