Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required<br>• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred<br>• Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative services areas<br>• Act as patient advocate for all patient populations<br>• Maintain surgical standards of nursing practice<br>• Set priorities and organize workload effectively while managing changes in assignment<br>• Integrate multiple assignments with multilevel personnel<br>• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required<br>• Thorough knowledge of sterile technique mandatory<br>• Commitment to team concept and strong task completion skills<br>• Develop and implement total nursing care through patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, and care plans<br>• Participate and implement age-specific care and interaction<br>• Complete departmental orientation and age-specific training<br>• Collaborate with healthcare team including RN, LPN, NA, physicians, and ancillary disciplines<br>• Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients including pediatric and geriatric populations<br>• Conduct reassessments as per policy<br>• Adequately assess and reassess pain using appropriate pain management techniques<br>• Quick start position with urgent need</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on surgical and perioperative care.
