Operating Room RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Join Baptist Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. You'll deliver direct perioperative nursing care on a 4x10 day shift schedule, working 06:30–17:00 Monday through Thursday.

Your Role

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Provide supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care delivery
• Maintain staff competency within the operating room environment
• Manage appropriate resources related to patient care
• Work at the unit level providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care

What to Expect

You'll work in a dynamic surgical environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. The facility requires Galaxy Blue scrubs as part of the dress code. Before your first shift, you'll complete Point of Care training and Restraint competency testing. Badge distribution is handled through the facility HR department, and you'll clock in at the first-floor location by the Chapel.
