CT Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a weekly pay of $2,462.40.

Role Overview

You will manage a daily caseload of approximately 6 patients per hour (60 exams per day), focusing primarily on cardiac imaging (75% of your work). Your responsibilities include routine CT studies, stroke patient imaging, and interventional radiology procedures. You'll float within scope to meet facility needs and may be called to sister facilities as required. Holiday rotation and on-call duties are part of this position, and you must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November).

Required Qualifications

• BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications
• South Carolina CT license in hand at time of start
• Minimum 1 year CT experience or 6 months Level 1 trauma experience
• Siemens equipment experience required (Naeotom Alpha Photon counting-Somaris 10 and X.Cite-Somaris 10)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience

Preferred Experience

• Biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies

What to Expect

You'll work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. A 40-hour orientation is provided. You may be called off 1 shift per 2 weeks at the facility's discretion. Dress code is teal top and black bottom. You must supply your own radiation badge, as the facility does not provide one to travelers.

This assignment begins May 11, 2026, and runs for 91 days.
