Long-Term Care CNA Job in Kapaa, HI

Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 91-day travel assignment in Kapaa, Hawaii. You will earn $2,482 per week while providing essential direct patient care in a long-term care setting.

Your Role

As a CNA, you will support nursing staff and care for patients across multiple units, including skilled nursing facilities (SNF), intermediate care facilities (ICF), medical units, and surgical units. You will perform a variety of nursing support tasks according to facility protocols, including assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining patient comfort, and supporting patient hygiene and mobility.

Schedule and Expectations

• 40 hours per week with flexibility to work any shift as required
• Rotating shifts across various care units
• Potential home care assignments for patients when needed
• Holiday pay based on hours worked on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

What You Need to Know

You must be able to adapt to changing shift assignments and work across different patient care settings. Upon arrival, you will complete all required compliance training and orientation to facility protocols. Follow established methods and procedures to ensure quality patient care and maintain facility standards.
