MRI Technologist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an MRI Technologist I to join its diagnostic imaging department. This is a 10-hour shift role running Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with an 89-week contract starting October 19, 2026. You will earn $2,320 weekly.

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patient populations using advanced MRI equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, review clinical histories, and correlate physician-ordered imaging studies
• Perform a diverse range of diagnostic MRI procedures in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve clinical outcomes
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed, documented, and meet technical quality standards
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain clinical competencies

What You'll Bring

• Current MRI registration
• 3 years of MRI experience preferred
• Experience with breast MRI preferred; training will be provided for candidates without this specialty background
