Respiratory Therapist Job in Lander, Wyoming

SH SAGEWEST HEALTH CARE is seeking a registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel position in Lander, Wyoming. This is a 91-day assignment starting June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,628.

Position Overview

You will provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. Your responsibilities include maintaining airways, managing ventilators, assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, and delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas. You will also insert arterial lines, assist with intubations, conduct pulmonary function studies, perform cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and analyze blood gases.

Schedule and Requirements

This position operates on a variable schedule with two day shifts and one night shift per week. You must hold current NBRC RRT certification and a valid Wyoming RT license.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Experience working with pediatric and obstetric (OB) patients
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• NBRC RRT certification
• Wyoming RT license

Responsibilities

• Follow medical staff protocols and department policies to ensure timely diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care across multiple populations
• Maintain detailed records and documentation per facility standards
