Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within service line as needed
• 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted
• NICU and/or PICU experience required (HARD STOP)
• Required certifications: BCLS, RRT, NRP, PALS
• Skills required: ED, level 1 trauma facility, NICU, pediatric critical care, pediatrics
• Work with specialized equipment including servo ventilator, nitric oxide, and high frequency oscillator
• Perform aerosol setups, assist with intubations, manage ventilators, and provide respiratory care for all pediatric age groups
• Handle interpretation of arterial blood gases, tracheostomy care, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Any scrub color or facility-specific t-shirts/jackets accepted
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Maximum 2 RTO requests allowed (no more than 7 days per 13-week contract)
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
