Job Details:

• Work day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• On call or late shifts 1-3 times per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend (Friday-Sunday)
• Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Handle various surgical cases including pain procedures (injections/Kyphoplasty), ENT surgeries (ear tubes/tonsils/sinus/thyroid), urology procedures (cysto/TURP/PCNL/Lithotripsy/robotic procedures), gynecology surgeries (total lap hysterectomy/ablations/D&C), podiatry, general surgeries (cholecystectomy/appendectomy/hernias), and some orthopedic procedures (hip pinning/knee scope/shoulder scopes)
• No C-sections or deliveries as L&D is separate department
• May float between St. Pats and Lake Area campuses
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA and RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Provide patient and family education
• Temp to perm possibility available
