ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts with 2:1 patient ratio
• Provide care for cardiac/medical intensive care patients and step-down overflow
• Manage advanced cardiac devices including Impella, IABP, ventilators, CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have strong cardiac ICU experience (CCU or CVICU preferred)
• 2 years of experience required with 1+ year minimum EPIC EMR experience
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post cardiac surgery care, pre/post cardiac catheterization/intervention, sheath removal
• Float to ICUs and cardiac telemetry as needed
• Weekend coverage required with stand-by call (no call pay)
• 72-hour orientation provided every Monday
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information (up to 16 billable hours)
• Must submit Social Security Number with application
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must be greater than 100 miles from all facilities or qualify for specific exceptions with reduced rates
