Respiratory Therapist Job in Key West, FL

Lower Keys Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week with no block scheduling.

About the Role:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
• Manage airways and provide ventilator management to patients
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Assist with insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Perform pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Draw and analyze blood gases
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients
• Work independently with NICU patients using established protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current FL RRT or CRT license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• AHCA certification required for Florida placements
• Experience with Medhost charting system preferred
• Comfort working independently with pediatric and NICU populations

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $1,997.28. You will follow all protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies during your assignment.
