Oncology RN Job in Fort Wayne, IN

Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 24-bed medical/surgical oncology unit. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week
• Administer chemotherapy and blood products to oncology patients
• Provide direct patient care in a specialized oncology setting
• Float to other units as needed
• Every other weekend required

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed hours: 72–96 hours bi-weekly
• Weekly pay: $2,197
• EMR system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Navy blue

Requirements

• Current Indiana RN licensure
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Oncology experience preferred
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
