Job Details:

• Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Previous Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Rotating on-call responsibilities required - department maintains both a primary and secondary on-call RN at all times
• No floating to other units
• No scheduled weekend requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation
• No scheduled holiday requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation
• Work in a high-volume procedural environment seeing approximately 25-35 patients per day
• Perform and assist with a wide variety of procedures including catheter placements, angiograms, fistulagrams, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, pulmonary embolism (PE) lysis, Neuro IR procedures (diagnostic angiograms, coilings, stent placements, and thrombectomies), and epidural injections
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation
• Manage patient hemodynamics and recognize and respond to complications
• Work across 6 procedure rooms (4 body, 1 CT, 1 Neuro IR) and 11 holding/recovery beds
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing patient and department needs
