Job Details:

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with varying start and end times
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• No local travelers within a 50-mile radius
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• Operate LINAC equipment to deliver prescribed and planned courses of radiation therapy to patients
• Assist in the use and fabrication of positioning or restraining devices, patient set-ups, portal adjustments, and interpreting prescriptions
• Assist in tumor localization and dosimetry procedures
• Perform CT clinical simulation procedures
• Maintain close observation and supervision of patients in the treatment room
• Work with physicians and personnel to organize simulation schedules to ensure no delays occur
• Participate in the training of radiation therapy students
• Responsible for capturing patient charges
• Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of treatment
• Maintain and practice radiation safety using ALARA principles
• Required skills: Adult Outpatient, ARIA, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), TrueBeam, Tumor Localization, Varis-Vision/ARIA
