CT Technologist Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health – Wesley Long Community Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology and Cardiology departments. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging across multiple anatomical regions, including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sinuses with and without contrast. Advanced imaging responsibilities include brain perfusion, coronary CTA, carotid studies, and vascular chest imaging. You will also conduct interventional procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, abscess drainages, and chest tube placements. Three-dimensional rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering are part of your daily work.

Schedule & Compensation

This position offers 3x12-hour day shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Weekly pay is $2,462.40.

Requirements

• Current certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RT-R-CT
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Experience with iSTATs, Power Ports, and PACs
• Procedural experience
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

You will operate Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite equipment. Contrast media preparation and administration, including IV starts for peripheral and power port access, are core duties. You will apply radiation safety protocols and follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements. You will serve patients across all age groups—adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics—managing diagnoses including cancer, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, general, and geriatric cases.

Facility Information

Wesley Long Community Hospital is a community-based facility where you will maintain a patient ratio of 5 during days, 4 during nights, and 3 on weekends. The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
