Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call requirements
• 8-week assignment
• Rotating and self-scheduling call schedule
• Work in a dedicated 2-bed Pediatric CVOR unit on the 3rd floor
• No floating requirement - dedicated pediatric CVOR team
• EMR system used: Meditech
• Pediatric CVOR experience preferred; at minimum, operating room experience with cardiac experience required
• Experience in pediatric CVOR strongly preferred
• CVOR scrub skills preferred but not mandatory
• Perform open heart surgery on pediatric congenital heart patients
• Assist with bedside sternal closures and washout procedures in the ICU
• Strong teamwork skills and high performance standards expected
• Work closely with pediatric cath lab, echo teams, and pre/post anesthesia unit teams
