<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement<br>• Float within all sections of the Emergency Department (no floating outside of ED)<br>• Patient ratios: 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds<br>• Must have 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in ER setting<br>• Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience required<br>• High volume emergency department experience (>100,000 visits) required<br>• Previous HCA experience preferred<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS before start date, ENPC within 90 days of hire<br>• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system<br>• Navy scrubs required for RNs (all navy, all white, or combination of navy and white)<br>• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time<br>• Follow AIDET standards, respectful behavior, and patient experience requirements<br>• Keep boards updated with patient information throughout visits<br>• 4-hour hospital orientation followed by 8-hour floor shift<br>• Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a 101-bed emergency department serving as a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
