RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 5x8 hours, with hours that may vary during the time frame
• Core shift hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with 2-3 late days per week based on recovery and procedure census
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Up to 1 Saturday every 6-week schedule as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Coverage includes both Outpatient Endoscopy and Hospital Endoscopy locations on the same campus
• No floating required
• Unit has up to 9 procedure rooms with 36 pre/post bays and beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• 18-21 procedures per room per physician per shift
• Equipment used includes Olympus Scopes and ERBE
• EMR systems used are EPIC and Provation - EPIC experience within the past year is required
• Must have experience in pre-procedure/pre-op and post-procedure/post-op
• Must have procedure room experience, charting, turning, and conscious sedation experience
• 1 year of endoscopy experience required
• Fast-paced, teamwork-driven environment serving inpatient and outpatient populations
• Basic dysrhythmia knowledge required
• Must be able to work with delicate instruments and fluoroscopy equipment
• Must have good communication skills and ability to work closely with physicians and other staff
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• CGRN certification recommended within 2 years after hire date but not required
• Current RN license required, eligible for or currently licensed in the state of Missouri
• Scrub color: Black or provided surgical scrubs
