RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a facility with 3 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to a sister hospital location as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday coverage expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
• Self-scheduling
• Daily census ranges from 15 to 25 patients
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Required skills include: assisting with central line insertion/management, circulating procedures, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, electrophysiology (EP) lab, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, infection prevention, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV infusion pumps, laser-assisted procedures, left and right heart catheterization, monitoring procedural sedation, PICC line care and maintenance, pre/post procedure care, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, radiation and laser safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, scrub procedures, starting and maintaining IVs, FFR - Fractional Flow Reserve, and Angiojet
