RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with varied times, either 8 or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Required to take call 1-2 days per week, approximately every 2-3 weekends, including holidays
• 4-person call team
• Perform IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Demonstrate basic understanding of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures
• Apply specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker and IABP insertion
• Apply specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing
• Utilize EMR documentation system: Meditech
• Utilize monitoring system: Sensis
• Operate Siemens equipment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab required
• Required certification: BLS
