MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 6-month telemetry assignment beginning June 28, 2026. This role provides an opportunity to deliver skilled nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit while maintaining continuity through the winter season.

Position Details

• 6-month assignment
• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend schedule
• Every other holiday schedule
• Weekly pay: $2,007.72

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and vital signs for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Provide direct nursing care on the medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes

You will work alongside experienced clinical staff in a 339-bed acute-care facility. Your attention to detail in cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and patient documentation will be essential to the success of this role.
