CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work as a CT/X-Ray Combo Technologist with CT experience required (will not accept X-ray only candidates)
• Rotating schedule options: 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days
• Shift times range from earliest 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM to latest 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours weekly for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly for 3 twelve-hour shifts, 48 hours weekly for 4 twelve-hour shifts
• On-call coverage required from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on rotation
• Weekend call required on rotation basis, may require more than 1 weekend per month depending on staffing
• Daily caseload of 28 CT and X-ray combined cases
• Must be available during shift hours if called in due to high volume or multiple traumas
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• ARRT-R certification required, ARRT-CT not required
• BLS certification required
• Must be able to float within scope of practice
• Work with all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Equipment includes Siemens go.Top 128 slice CT Scanner, Philips fixed X-ray room, GE/Konica Fluoro X-ray room, GE OEC C-arm, and GE Optima Mobile X-ray
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• 2-hour orientation period
• Any scrub color acceptable
• RTO restrictions: no time off within first 2 weeks due to orientation, RTO must be less than a week
