Echo Technologist Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health - The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform inpatient echocardiography services. You will work five 8-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotations. Rotating weekends are required—one in every four weekends. You may float between the main campus and a satellite location approximately 3 miles away.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform 2D and 3D echocardiography, TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram), Stress Echo, and Endo TE procedures
• Conduct 3D strain image enhancement and bubble studies
• Perform Definity contrast imaging
• Execute portable studies, color Doppler, M-Mode, and RVIT/RVOT studies
• Perform Impella checks, LVAD, and Ramp procedures (experience preferred)
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in an inpatient setting

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of echo technician experience
• ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS certification
• BLS certification
• GE and/or Philips ultrasound equipment experience
• Epic electronic health record charting experience
• Community hospital experience
• Familiarity with a zero-tolerance policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences

Preferred qualifications:

• Trauma Level I facility experience

This is a 91-day travel position starting July 13, 2026. You will receive $2,534.40 per week. Note that 4x10 schedules cannot be accommodated; you must be comfortable with the 5x8 schedule requirement.
