<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>CT Technologist - CT Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Conduct and assist in CT examinations under supervision of CT Supervisor<br>• Provide patient care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients<br>• Prepare and position patients for scans according to department procedures<br>• Explain procedures and risks to patients and families<br>• Obtain signed or verbal consent from patients or legal guardians<br>• Set up equipment and perform CT examinations<br>• Utilize power injector and administer IV contrast materials<br>• Start and maintain IV lines according to hospital policies<br>• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after scans<br>• Transport patients to and from Radiology Department<br>• Perform quality assurance and record keeping duties<br>• Schedule examinations and coordinate with various departments<br>• Maintain scan rooms and equipment<br>• Take call on rotational basis with 24-hour availability<br>• Required education: Completion of formal radiologic technology training in AMA approved school<br>• Required certifications: ARRT registry, current CPR certification<br>• Preferred: CT certification and up to one year CT experience<br>• Must demonstrate proficiency in operating CT scanners<br>• Physical requirements include lifting up to 300 pounds, standing 2+ hours daily, sitting 5+ hours<br>• Must maintain continuing education requirements for ARRT license</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced CT imaging capabilities.
