<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Vascular Tech - Vascular Medicine</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work variable shift schedules including 12-hour or 8-hour shifts<br>• Shift times may include 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Weekend work required<br>• On-call responsibilities required with own transportation<br>• Floating required between two campuses<br>• Handle 10-15 patients per day from inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room units<br>• Perform advanced cardiac and vascular circulation diagnostic exams using echo, ultrasound, and Doppler equipment<br>• Conduct ultrasound examinations of cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels<br>• May perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression<br>• Assist physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needle localization procedures<br>• Record and maintain test data and prepare preliminary interpretations of test results<br>• May perform routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN, and other vascular ultrasound procedures<br>• Graduate of accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program required<br>• 1-2 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred<br>• Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT required<br>• BLS certification from AHA required<br>• Temp to permanent position possibility</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This emergency hospital provides comprehensive vascular medicine services with advanced diagnostic capabilities.
