<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Stepdown</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be specified on submission form)<br>• 13-week assignment length<br>• Weekend hours as required by facility<br>• No call requirements<br>• Float on rotational basis to critical care cluster or med/surg<br>• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 on 26-bed unit<br>• 1 year Step Down/PCU experience required (inpatient only)<br>• Current RN license required (Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure)<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only<br>• Work with equipment including Philips monitors, chest tubes, art lines, wound vacs, pacer boxes, pacing wires, drains, EKOS, Nicom, BIPAP, Airvo<br>• Use EPIC electronic medical record system<br>• Care for patients including cardiac/thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, alcohol withdrawal, respiratory distress, insulin drips<br>• Dress code: Black scrubs only or Mercy-logo attire<br>• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire orientation week<br>• Must be team player and maintain professional accountability for patient care<br>• Flu vaccination or Mercy approved exemption required November 1-April 1</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility earned an A grade in The Leapfrog Group&#39;s Hospital Safety Grade and is recognized for its unique combination of leading-edge healthcare and compassionate caregivers.
