ED RN Job in Weatherford, TX

Medical City Weatherford is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Department. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly and every other weekend required. No call is expected.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a 23-bed emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include performing standard ED procedures, managing Level IV trauma cases, implementing primary stroke center protocols, and supporting chest pain accreditation with PCI services available 24/7 for STEMI cases. You'll use the Meditech documentation system and work with standard ED equipment. Floating to other units may be required as needed.

Requirements

• Current, active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, and at least one of the following: PALS, ENPC, TNCC, or NIHSS certification
• Meditech experience preferred

Assignment Details

This 91-day assignment begins July 13, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,708.20. Medical City Weatherford is a full-service acute care facility located in Weatherford, Texas.

Facility Expectations

You must comply with facility dress code requirements: royal blue scrubs, non-absorbent slip-resistant shoes, no artificial nails, neat and clean hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, covered tattoos when possible, and no visible piercings except ears.
