Cath Lab Technologist Job in San Antonio, TX

Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join the cardiac catheterization laboratory team. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 4, 2026, working three 12-hour day shifts per week (07:00–19:30).

Your Role

You will provide technical and patient support within the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting physicians during catheterization procedures and ensuring safe, correct operation of all equipment. You will communicate continuously with physicians about patient condition and status throughout procedures, keeping the care team informed at all times.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures
• Operate all equipment safely and correctly
• Assess procedure rooms for equipment functioning and readiness before cases begin
• Obtain supplies for cases and meet all appropriate needs of the Cardiac Cath Lab team
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
• Complete Point of Care training and Restraint competency testing during onboarding

What We're Looking For

You hold an Allied Health Professional credential and have experience as a Cath Lab Technologist. You are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment where physician collaboration and patient safety are priorities.

Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $2,252.19. The assignment runs for 91 days. Dress code requires Galaxy Blue scrubs. On your first day, clock in at the first-floor location by the Chapel.
