CVOR First Assist Job in Norwalk, OH

Fisher-Titus Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) for the Operating Room. This is a 13-week travel contract offering 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide first assist support in the operating room, with a specific focus on orthopedic robotic procedures. Ortho robot experience is required for this position.

Schedule and Call Requirements

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Minimum two (2) on-call shifts per week, Monday through Friday, beginning at the end of your working shift
• Weekend call required: Saturday 7:00 AM to Sunday 7:00 AM and Sunday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour shifts); minimum one (1) weekend call per 4-week schedule
• Holiday call required: minimum one (1) 24-hour holiday call during the contract duration, in addition to weekend call (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
• You must be available to arrive at the hospital within 20 minutes for emergency on-call cases
• You must arrive one (1) hour before scheduled on-call cases begin
• Call shifts can be combined upon request to meet the two-shift weekly requirement

Responsibilities

• After on-call cases, you are required to clean rooms, instruments, and set up rooms before leaving
• For emergent C-sections staffed by the OR on-call team, you must clean the room, replace disposable items, and set up for the procedure before leaving

Requirements and Compensation

• Ohio license required prior to start date
• Must maintain a smoke/nicotine-free workplace policy
• One week of hands-on orientation provided (4 or 5 days depending on shift structure)
• Weekly pay: $2,390.40
