PACU RN Job in Dublin, Ohio

Mount Carmel Dublin is seeking a registered nurse for the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). You will provide direct patient care in the immediate post-operative period, monitoring recovery from anesthesia and managing patient comfort and safety.

Position Details:

• Role: PACU Registered Nurse
• Location: Mount Carmel Dublin, Dublin, Ohio
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM on a 4x10 basis
• Duration: 90 days
• Start Date: August 23, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,402.40

What You'll Do:

You will monitor post-anesthesia patients, assess vital signs, manage pain and nausea, and facilitate safe recovery transitions. You will document patient progress, communicate with the surgical team, and respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment.

Schedule and Expectations:

• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend commitments
• Hours are not guaranteed and may be reduced based on operational needs
• You may be reassigned to an available shift later in the week if the unit experiences staffing changes
• You may be floated to another unit or care site within the Mount Carmel health system to maintain contracted hours

Requirements:

You must hold a current RN license. Experience in PACU or acute care settings is valued. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic surgical environment and responding flexibly to unit census and staffing adjustments.
