Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• Call required - 12 days in an 8-week schedule
• After-hours call during the week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 24 hours on weekends
• Assigned 2-3 weekends on call per 8-week period; weekend call runs Friday through Monday
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience required
• Interventional radiology experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Approximately 5 patient visits per day
• May be required to float to other departments during flu season or high census periods
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS
• Key skills include: diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), left and right heart catheterization, fluoroscopy, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker insertion, sterile technique, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and vascular closure systems
