CVOR Technologist Job in Mountain Home, AR

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a CVOR Technologist to join our surgical services team. This is a 91-day travel position running from July 6, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,448.

Position Overview

You will work 5 shifts of 8 hours per week in our cardiovascular operating room, assisting surgeons and surgical personnel during procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Setting up the operating room and preparing patients for surgery
• Adjusting lights and operating room equipment
• Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Holding retractors, cutting sutures, and assisting with counts of sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments
• Supporting patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Floating to Main Hall as needed

Requirements

You must hold current certification in BLS, CST, NBSTSA, and NCCT. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. You will need a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular or surgical technologist experience, and 5 years of total experience in the field. Travel experience is highly preferred. Cerner charting system experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Baxter Health operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. You will be expected to work holidays and during inclement weather. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for up to 8–12 hours per shift. You will occasionally lift 50 pounds or more of equipment and assist with patient lifts of 125 pounds or more. Call availability is required.

Orientation of 8 hours will be provided. You will work in a hospital setting with full surgical support and established protocols.
