Med Surg RN Job in Nacogdoches, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, TX. This is a 10- to 13-week travel assignment on a day shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 0700 to 1930.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Provide unit-level patient care and supervision
• Supervise and delegate appropriate care to assigned staff
• Support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Maintain clinical competency of staff under your supervision
• Manage resources appropriately to support patient care delivery

Onboarding: Human Resources is located behind the hospital in the only two-story office building on campus, first floor, Suite 107. Report there on your start date to complete orientation and paperwork before beginning clinical duties on the unit.

You must hold a current RN license in Texas to be considered for this position.
