PACU RN Job in Nashville, TN

You will work as an RN in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 3, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 2 weekends required per 4-week schedule (4 shifts)
• Weekly pay: $1,898

Clinical Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1
• Provide post-operative patient care and monitoring
• Start IVs and perform basic wound care
• Maintain surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Monitor and manage equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, and EKG machines
• Conduct bedside shift reports and include patients and family members in care planning
• Float to other units as needed; contract labor floats first

Required Skills and Certifications

• Active RN license and current BLS certification
• Medical/surgical nursing experience with ability to prioritize care and multitask
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with iMobile communication technology
• Ability to provide attentive and compassionate care

Facility Details

• Navy scrubs required (tops and bottoms)
• Unit secretary coverage available 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tech support available on day and night shifts
