<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>OT - OT</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with no weekends<br>• Shift options: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour for lunch OR 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with 30 minutes for lunch (to be decided during interview)<br>• 13-week contract length<br>• Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when unit is closed<br>• Master&#39;s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program required<br>• Currently licensed in the State of Texas required<br>• Minimum three years outpatient experience required<br>• Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) certification required<br>• BLS through American Heart Association required<br>• Direct evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of occupational therapy intervention for patients<br>• Serve as patient advocate ensuring delivery of occupational therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards<br>• Adhere to department philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures<br>• Participate in HCSS virtual orientation and Epic training at UTMB Galveston campus<br>• Manager phone interview required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive medical system that provides specialized occupational therapy services with a focus on outpatient care.
